This week, brain development is constant and the size of the head is growing to have new brain tissue. Brain grows around 3/8 of an inch every week. The skin is red in the beginning but turns pink in later weeks. For singlet pregnancies, bi-weekly visits are recommended for a few weeks. You may be visiting a doctor weekly if you have multiples.
It is very important to get blood pressure tested over the past few weeks of pregnancy as high BP is very common. You should also look out for changes in steep rise in protein in the urine, weight and vision.
