The Baby –
- Your baby is strong and big enough
- Sucking up every drop of calcium a mother provides as their bones keep hardening and becoming stronger
You –
- Might start experiencing the renaissance of symptoms related to the first trimester like gastrointestinal problems of heartburn. Things get crowded in there with more constipation and slower digestion.
- Gaining weight with steady upward movement on doctor’s scale.
Fetus is finally looking like your baby. The body and head are in proportion. Fat stores keep on building under the skin and babies are gaining weight rapidly. Eyes are now sensitive to light and are developed well. S/he can now see, hear and smell. Women with multiples have the same milestones and singles may definitely outweigh multiples soon.
Problems in taking full edema and breathing are very common at this stage. You might be feeling like you have been pregnant for ages as you are living every day with lots of symptoms. You should keep in mind that pregnancy is temporary and a lot of symptoms might fade away after birth. Hemorrhoids can take place during pregnancy because of the fetus’ weight on the rectum. You will still be having symptoms even after the birth of your baby. You should drink plenty of water and eat lots of fiber to deal with constipation.
