The Baby –
- S/he is quite bigger than the previous week. She might be around 11 2/3 inches long and weigh over a pound.
- Blood vessels keep on developing in lungs and the pancreas is kicking in.
Your Body –
- Fetus start rolling punching and kicking in the uterus
- You might be having heartburn and indigestion due to shrunk abdominal space and growing fetus
The bones start to harden along with inner ear bones with the growth of the fetus. S/he will weigh around 1.5 pounds in normal cases. It’s a great milestone for your baby. Development has crossed the level that your baby should survive, especially in case of early birth. There are high risks of impaired health. Baby will wake and sleep. If you have multiples, they may be waking up and sleeping on different patterns. Women having multiples often find alternating wake and sleep cycles if they have twins.
Your uterus has a lot of room for your baby to kick, roll and punch. The couple may also see the movements outside. Uterus moves up to 1.5 inches off the naval, organs may be moving up a bit. Mood swings will always stick around you till 40 weeks and also for several months after you give birth.
